What is Love? Part IV

Paulo Coelho

swansPeople, since the beginning of time, have always tried to understand the universe through love.

Love is the key to understanding all the mysteries.

The energy that many people call love is, in fact, the raw material in which the universe was built. This energy cannot be manipulated, it leads us forward, it contains all we have to learn in this life.

The moment we set off in search of love, it sets off in search of us. And saves us.

When we love, it is not necessary to understand what is happening outside, because everything begins to happen inside us instead.

Love is not to be found in someone else, but in ourselves; we simply awaken it. But in order to do that, we need another person.

Love is always new. It doesn’t matter if we love once, twice or ten times in a lifetime, we will always find ourselves faced by an unfamiliar situation.

Love means sharing the world with someone else.

When you love, things make even more sense.

Everything is allowed, except interrupting a manifestation of love.

There is only one sin. Lack of love.

Anyone who loves must know how to lose themselves and find themselves again.

Love is full of traps. When it wants to reveal itself, it shows only its light and does not let us see the shadows cast by that light.

The strongest love is the love that can demonstrate its fragility.

Ever since time began, people have recognized their true love by the light in their eyes.
