What is The Law of One?

Wikipedia says “It is a series of five philosophical monologues”, based on questions posed in the 1980’s by Don Elkins, to a spiritual entity that identified itself as Ra, using Carla Rueckhart as the channeler“.

According to Ra, the short version of the Law may be approximated by stating that all are One. That there is no polarity, no right or wrong, no disharmony, but only identity. All is one and that one is love/light. Light/love, the infinite creator”… [So] …All things, all life, all of the creation is part of one original thought.

But in December, 2006, a forgotten male friend sent me this longer version:

We are all One.
When One is harmed, All are harmed;
When One is helped, All are helped.
Therefore, in the name of My Being
Which is One with All
And is All Powerful and All Loving
And is One with the Angels and with the Christ
I ask for only that which is The Highest Good of All Concerned
To happen here and now and everywhere and through all times.
On the Physical plane, the Greatest Beauty and Harmony;
On the Emotional plane, the most Profound Joy and Love;
In the World of the Mind, the Greatest Wisdom;
And in the Spirit, the greatest Unity with All.
I am deeply thankful that this is being done here and now.

And here is a physical example of Oneness. The rowers are Kathleen Heddle, Diane O’Grady, Marnie McBean and Laryssa Biesenthal. At the 1996 Summer Olympics, in Atlanta, they missed winning Silver Medals by 0.2 of a second. That’s probably less than the blink of an eye-lid.
